MINISTERS AND SEMINARIANS

Are you considering becoming a clergy couple? First, remember that you both don’t have to be UU ministers to be considered a “clergy couple.” Your partner/spouse may be a minister in another denomination, or ordained clergy working in a community-based setting. There are two criteria for membership to this group:

  1. that each partner in the couple is a minister and
  2. that one of the couple is a UU minister.

The best way to discern whether or not you and your partner are suited for co-ministry is to take a career assessment test together and talk to other clergy couples. The directory has the contact information for co-ministry teams in your area. Please don’t hesitate to call. We see our ministry strengthened through contact with one another.
